The Paramus Spartans basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the visiting Cliffside Park Raiders to 38 in the Spartans non-league victory on Saturday.

The Spartans now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pascack Valley for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 22. Paramus will battle a Panthers team coming off a 67-65 non-league loss to Northern Highlands (Allendale, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 0-2.

The Raiders (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Westwood (Washington Township, NJ). The Cardinals go into the non-league bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Westwood was crushed by Fort Lee (Fort Lee, NJ), 54-48, in a non-league bout.
