East Moline United Panthers (East Moline, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Davenport West Falcons (Davenport, IA), 72-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, East Moline United upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Panthers travel to Hononegah (Rockton, IL) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 27. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 2-9. Hononegah lost 76-60 in their recent league bout against Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL)

Next up, the Falcons play the Davenport North Wildcats (Davenport, IA) in a Mississippi bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Davenport West will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 67-61 league win over Clinton (Clinton, IA).
