The Paint Valley Bearcats basketball team (Bainbridge, OH), was nudged 76-74 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Federal Hocking Lancers (Stewart, OH)

The Lancers now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Waterford for a Tri-Valley II battle on Tuesday, December 20.

The Bearcats (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Piketon (Piketon, OH). The Redstreaks come into the Scioto Valley battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Piketon was nudged by Zane Trace (Chillicothe, OH), 68-48, in a league battle.
