Gainesville Bulldogs (Gainesville, MO) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Summersville Wildcats (Summersville, MO), 51-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Gainesville upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Bradleyville (Bradleyville, MO) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Bradleyville lost 73-44 in their recent non-league bout against Southern Missouri RUSH (Springfield, MO)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Winona Wildcats (Winona, MO) in a Big Springs bout, on Monday, January 2. Summersville will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 83-63 non-league loss to Liberty (Mountain View, MO).
