Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Gateway Gators (San Francisco, CA) and the host Tennyson Lancers (Hayward, CA), saw Gateway's basketball squad overcome Tennyson by a tally of 64-56.

With the victory, Gateway improves its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Gators travel to Terra Linda (San Rafael, CA) to confront the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 4. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 5-3.

Next up, the Lancers confront the San Lorenzo Grizzlies (San Lorenzo, CA) in a West Alameda County - Shoreline challenge, on Friday, January 6. Tennyson will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record.
