The Granby Comets basketball team (Norfolk, VA), was overwhelmed 69-39 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Kellam Knights (Virginia Beach, VA)

The Knights now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tallwood for a Beach battle on Tuesday, December 20. Kellam will battle a Lions team coming off a 57-52 league loss to Cox (Virginia Beach, VA). The Lions record now stands at 3-3.

The Comets (0-6) will now prepare for their battle against Arcadia (Oak Hall, VA). The Firebirds come into the non-league battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, Arcadia was overwhelmed by Colonel Richardson (Federalsburg, MD), 83-64, in a non-league battle.
