The South Winneshiek Warriors basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Grand Meadow Superlarks to 26 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Warriors now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Buchanan for a non-league contest on Monday, December 19. South Winneshiek will battle a Buccaneers team coming off a 73-32 league loss to North Linn (Troy Mills, IA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 4-3.
The Superlarks (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against LeRoy-Ostrander (LeRoy, MN). The Cardinals enter the A Section 1 contest with a 1-4 record.
