Virginia High School Basketball - Thomas Dale can't hold off Grassfield

The Grassfield Grizzlies basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Thomas Dale Knights to 54 in the Grizzlies non-league victory on Saturday.

The Grizzlies now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Indian River for a Southeastern contest on Friday, January 6.

The Knights (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Potomac Senior (Dumfries, VA). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 7-0 record. In their last contest, Potomac Senior edged Wakefield (Arlington, VA), 62-49, in a non-league contest.
