Hayfield Vikings (Hayfield, MN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Kingsland Knights (Spring Valley, MN), 76-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Hayfield upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Vikings travel to Blooming Prairie (Blooming Prairie, MN) to play the Awesome Blossoms in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Awesome Blossoms go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Blooming Prairie lost 77-75 in their recent non-league bout against Medford (Medford, MN)

Next up, the Knights play the Houston Hurricanes (Houston, MN) in a A Section 1 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Kingsland will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
