Virginia High School Basketball - Patriot fells Highland Springs

December 17, 2022: Highland Springs, VA 23075

Patriot Pioneers (Nokesville, VA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Highland Springs Springers (Highland Springs, VA), 66-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Patriot upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Pioneers host Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA) to play the Bruins in a non-league bout on Monday, December 19. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Western Branch lost 68-50 in their recent league bout against King's Fork (Suffolk, VA)

Next up, the Springers play the Thomas Jefferson Vikings (Richmond, VA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 19. Highland Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 57-54 league win over Freeman (Richmond, VA).
