The Highland Rebels (Hardy, AR) basketball nipped the host Mammoth Spring Bears (Mammoth Spring, AR), 58-56 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Rebels (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Forrest City (Forrest City, AR). The Mustangs go into the 4A Region 3 test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Forrest City was tipped by Greene County Tech (Paragould, AR), 71-59, in a non-league test.
The Bears now own a 12-6 record. They play next when they travel to Cotter for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 4.
