West Virginia High School Basketball - Lexington topped by Huntington St. Joseph Prep

The Huntington St. Joseph Prep Irish basketball team scored 82 points and restricted the visiting Lexington Wildcats to 63 in the Irish non-league victory on Saturday.

The Irish now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Combine Academy for a Freelance contest on Thursday, December 22. Huntington St. Joseph Prep will battle a Goats team coming off a 75-50 non-league win over Ridge View (Columbia, SC). The Goats record now stands at 17-0.

The Wildcats (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Volunteer (Church Hill, TN). The Falcons come into the non-league contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Volunteer was defeated by Dobyns-Bennett (Kingsport, TN), 77-65, in a non-league contest.
