The Towanda Black Knights basketball team (Towanda, PA), was nudged 56-49 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Line Mountain Eagles (Herndon, PA)
The Eagles now possess a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Muncy for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 17. Line Mountain will battle a Indians team coming off a 73-40 league loss to Neumann Regional Academy (Williamsport, PA). The Indians record now stands at 4-1.
The Black Knights (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against North Penn-Mansfield (Mansfield, PA). The Tigers come into the Northern Tier battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, North Penn-Mansfield edged Williamson (Tioga, PA), 84-34, in a league battle.
