California High School Basketball - Menlo-Atherton thwarts Lowell

December 17, 2022: Atherton, CA 94027

The Menlo-Atherton Bears (Atherton, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting Lowell Cardinals (San Francisco, CA), 51-43 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Bears (6-0) will now prepare for their test against Menlo School (Atherton, CA). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Menlo School went down by Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA), 70-52, in a non-league test.

The Cardinals now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to International for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 20. Lowell will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 66-57 non-league loss to Lick-Wilmerding (San Francisco, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-6.
