With the victory, Maumelle upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Hornets host ESTEM (Little Rock, AR) to play the Mets in a 5A Central challenge on Wednesday, January 4. The Mets come into the challenge with a record of 6-8. ESTEM lost 65-51 in their recent league challenge against Jacksonville (Jacksonville, AR)

Next up, the Eagles play the Jonesboro Hurricane (Jonesboro, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 22. Vilonia will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record.
