Summit Storm (Bend, OR) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting McNary Celtics (Keizer, OR), 57-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Summit upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Storm host Tualatin (Tualatin, OR) to play the Timberwolves in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Timberwolves go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Tualatin won 83-72 in their recent non-league bout against Wells (Portland, OR)

Next up, the Celtics play the Sprague Olympians (Salem, OR) in a 6A Central Valley bout, on Thursday, January 5. McNary will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Olympians go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 74-33 non-league loss to St. John Bosco (Bellflower, CA).
