The Minico Spartans basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Rocky Mountain Grizzlies to 48 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Spartans now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ridgevue for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7.

The Grizzlies (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Kuna (Kuna, ID). The Kavemen enter the 5A Southern Idaho contest with a 1-4 record.
