In Saturday's non-league bout, the visiting Santee Warriors basketball squad scored a nice 75-67 win over the Wakpala Sioux.
With the win, Santee upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Warriors travel to Takini (Howes, SD) to meet the Skyhawks in a non-league match on Thursday, December 29. The Skyhawks go into the bout with a record of 0-5. Takini lost 54-26 in their recent non-league bout against Oelrichs (Oelrichs, SD)
Next up, the Sioux clash with the Pine Ridge Thorpes (Pine Ridge, SD) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 28. Wakpala will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Thorpes go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 74-44 non-league win over Todd County (Mission, SD).
