In Saturday's non-league match, the host South Point Red Raiders basketball team scored a decisive 83-56 triumph over the York Cougars.

In their next game, the Red Raiders meet the Huss Huskies (Gastonia, NC) in a 3A Conference 50 match, on Tuesday, December 20. South Point will attempt to move on its 7-0 season record. The Huskies enter the match with a 3-4 record after their 69-62 league loss to Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC).
