With the win, Walton-Verona upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Bearcats host Apollo (Owensboro, KY) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 21. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-4.

Next up, the Raiders confront the Switzerland County Pacers (Vevay, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 21. Trimble County will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Pacers come into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 57-47 non-league win over Hauser (Hope, IN).
