Chapel Hill Panthers (Douglasville, GA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Trinity Christian Lions (Sharpsburg, GA), 70-54 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Chapel Hill upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Sandy Creek (Tyrone, GA) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 4-1.

Next up, the Lions play the Troup County Tigers (LaGrange, GA) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Trinity Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 55-51 non-league loss to Carrollton (Carrollton, GA).
