Kennedy Cougars (Sacramento, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA), 45-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Kennedy upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Cougars travel to El Dorado (Placerville, CA) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 17. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 4-6. El Dorado won 40-39 in their recent non-league bout against Casa Roble (Orangevale, CA)

Next up, the Miners clash with the Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, December 17. Nevada Union will attempt to move on its 7-5 season record.
