Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Eastview Lightning (Apple Valley, MN) and the visiting Andover Huskies (Andover, MN), saw Eastview's basketball squad overcome Andover by a tally of 59-50.

With the victory, Eastview improves its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Lightning host Centennial (Circle Pines, MN) to play the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 29. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 3-4.

Next up, the Huskies play the Centennial Cougars (Circle Pines, MN) in a AAAA Section 7 challenge, on Friday, January 20. Andover will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record.
