In Saturday's non-league outing, the Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD) basketball squad edged the visiting Appoquinimink Jaguars (West Middletown, DE), by a count of 69-65.
The Chargers (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against St. Charles (Waldorf, MD). The go into the non-league outing with a 4-0 record. In their last outing, St. Charles held off Thomas Stone (Waldorf, MD), 76-27, in a non-league outing.
The Jaguars now hold a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Conrad Science for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 3.
