Bertha-Hewitt Bears (Bertha, MN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ashby Arrows (Ashby, MN), 51-25 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Bertha-Hewitt upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Bears host New York Mills (New York Mills, MN) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 12. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 1-3.

Next up, the Arrows play the Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] Tigers (Rosholt, SD) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Ashby will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record.
