The St. John-Vianney Lancers basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting Bishop McNamara Mustangs to 54 in the Lancers non-league victory on Saturday.

The Lancers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mount St. Mary Academy for a non-league contest on Sunday, December 18. St. John-Vianney will battle a Lions team coming off a 62-26 non-league loss to Red Bank Catholic (Red Bank, NJ). The Lions record now stands at 1-1.

The Mustangs (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Pickerington Central (Pickerington, OH). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 7-0 record.
