With the victory, Central Catholic improves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to North Vermilion (Maurice, LA) to confront the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 28. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 5-2.

Next up, the Tigers confront the Mentorship Academy Sharks (Baton Rouge, LA) in a 3A District 6 challenge, on Thursday, December 22. Doyle will attempt to improve on its 10-6 season record. The Sharks come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 71-19 non-league loss to Catholic of Pointe Coupee (New Roads, LA).
