Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Proviso East Pirates (Maywood, IL) and the host Christ the King Gladiators (Chicago, IL), saw Proviso East's basketball squad wallop Christ the King by a tally of 64-28.

With the victory, Proviso East improves its record to 5-8 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL) to confront the Hilltoppers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 20. The Hilltoppers come into the challenge with a record of 5-5. Glenbard West lost 50-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Lake Park (Roselle, IL)

Next up, the Gladiators confront the Westmont Sentinels (Westmont, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 19. Christ the King will attempt to improve on its 8-3 season record. The Sentinels come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 62-60 league win over Chicago Christian (Palos Heights, IL).
