Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Cook Hornets (Adel, GA) and the visiting Highland Christian Academy EAGLES (Valdosta, GA), saw Cook's basketball squad wallop Highland Christian Academy by a count of 63-42.

With the victory, Cook upgrades its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Berrien (Nashville, GA) to play the Rebels in a AA Region 1 challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 8-3.

Next up, the EAGLES play the Fullington Academy Trojans (Pinehurst, GA) in a GIAA A Region 3 challenge, on Friday, January 6. Highland Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
