Franklin Academy Patriots (Wake Forest, NC) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting St. Thomas More Academy Chancellors (Raleigh, NC), 38-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Franklin Academy upgrades its record to 5-7 on the season. The Patriots host Triangle Math & Science (Cary, NC) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Triangle Math & Science won 47-37 in their recent non-league bout against Princeton (Princeton, NC)

Next up, the Chancellors clash with the Cary Academy Chargers (Cary, NC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 26. St. Thomas More Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 45-24 non-league win over Raleigh Charter (Raleigh, NC).
