Hononegah Indians (Rockton, IL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Rock Falls Rockets (Rock Falls, IL), 54-28 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Hononegah upgrades its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Moline (Moline, IL) to play the Maroons in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 22. The Maroons come into the bout with a record of 3-8.

Next up, the Rockets play the Sterling Golden Warriors (Sterling, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 22. Rock Falls will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Golden Warriors come into the bout with a 1-9 record after their 70-39 non-league loss to Naperville Central (Naperville, IL).
