In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Prairie Central Hawks basketball team scored a good 41-32 triumph over the Knoxville Blue Bullets.
In their next game, the Hawks meet the Newark Norsemen (Newark, IL) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 20. Prairie Central will attempt to move on its 8-4 season record. The Norsemen enter the match with a 7-2 record after their 61-58 non-league loss to Seneca (Seneca, IL).
With the defeat, Knoxville moves to 8-5 on the year. The Blue bullets travel to Princeville (Princeville, IL) to face the Princes in a Lincoln Trail game on Monday, January 2. The Princes enter the game with a record of 5-6.
