Illinois High School Basketball - Plainfield East can't hold off Marist

The Marist RedHawks basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Plainfield East Bengals to 61 in the RedHawks non-league triumph on Saturday.
The RedHawks now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Laurence for a non-league contest on Monday, December 19. Marist will battle a Vikings team coming off a 48-47 non-league win over Stagg (Palos Hills, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 7-4.
Next up, the Bengals play the Yorkville Foxes (Yorkville, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Plainfield East will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record.
