In Saturday's non-league outing, the San Simon Longhorns (San Simon, AZ) basketball squad felled the host Metro Tech Knights (Phoenix, AZ), by a margin of 34-26.
The Longhorns (7-5) will now prepare for their outing against Baboquivari (Sells, AZ). The Warriors go into the 1A Tucson Southeast outing with a 5-4 record.
The Knights now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Coronado for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 27. Metro Tech will clash with a Dons squad coming off a 63-30 non-league loss to Goldwater (Phoenix, AZ). The Dons record now stands at 2-6.
