California High School Basketball - Montgomery can't hold off Redwood

The Redwood Giants basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Montgomery Vikings to 51 in the Giants non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Giants now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Miramonte for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 20. Redwood will battle a Matadors team coming off a 67-57 non-league win over Maria Carrillo (Santa Rosa, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 6-2.

The Vikings (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, CA). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Santa Rosa nudged St. Vincent de Paul (Petaluma, CA), 52-22, in a league contest.
