Princeton Day Panthers (Princeton, NJ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Nottingham Northstars (Hamilton, NJ), 33-25 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Princeton Day upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Panthers travel to South Hunterdon (Lambertville, NJ) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 27. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Northstars play the West Windsor-Plainsboro North Knights (Plainsboro, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Nottingham will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 45-27 league win over West Windsor-Plainsboro South (Princeton Junction, NJ).
