In Saturday's non-league match, the host Tiospa Zina Wambdi basketball team scored a tight 50-45 triumph over the Omaha Nation Chiefs.
In their next game, the Wambdi meet the Webster Bearcats (Webster, SD) in a A Region 1 match, on Thursday, December 22. Tiospa Zina will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record.
Next up, the Chiefs play the Oakland-Craig Knights (Oakland, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 20. Omaha Nation will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 53-8 non-league win over Madison (Madison, NE).
