In Saturday's non-league outing, the Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars (Albuquerque, NM), by a margin of 59-10.
The Matadors (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM). The Hawks go into the non-league outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, Volcano Vista was trounced by La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM), 40-21, in a non-league outing.
The Jaguars now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Albuquerque for a non-league match on Wednesday, January 11.
