In Saturday's non-league outing, the Brentwood School Eagles (Los Angeles, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Newbury Park Panthers (Newbury Park, CA), by a count of 50-14.

The Eagles (9-3) will now prepare for their outing against Notre Dame (SO) (Sherman Oaks, CA). The Knights go into the non-league outing with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Notre Dame (SO) was crushed by El Camino Real (Woodland Hills, CA), 37-26, in a non-league challenge.

Next up, the Panthers play the Oaks Christian Lions (Westlake Village, CA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Newbury Park will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 65-30 non-league loss to Granada Hills Charter (Granada Hills, CA).
