St. Mary's Academy Belles (Inglewood, CA) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Dominguez Dons (Compton, CA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Belles confront the St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors (Downey, CA) in a Camino Real challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. St. Mary's Academy will attempt to better on its 6-5 season record.

The Dons now have a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Gahr for a San Gabriel Valley challenge on Wednesday, January 4. Dominguez will confront a Gladiators team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Liberty (Winchester, CA). The Gladiators record now stands at 0-7.
