Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Midland Valley Mustangs (Graniteville, SC) and the visiting Academy of Richmond County Musketeers (Augusta, GA), saw Midland Valley's basketball squad overcome Academy of Richmond County by a tally of 47-37.

With the victory, Midland Valley improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Chapin (Chapin, SC) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 3-2.

Next up, the Musketeers confront the Glenn Hills Spartans (Augusta, GA) in a challenge, on Wednesday, January 4. Academy of Richmond County will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
