The West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM) basketball crushed the visiting Del Norte Knights (Albuquerque, NM), 77-36 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (6-0) will now prepare for their test against Manzano (Albuquerque, NM). The Monarchs go into the non-league test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, Manzano was trounced by Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 57-54, in a non-league test.
The Knights now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host La Cueva for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 20. Del Norte will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 53-42 non-league loss to Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM). The Bears record now stands at 3-1.
