Tennyson Lancers (Hayward, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Gateway Gators (San Francisco, CA), 39-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Tennyson upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Lancers host San Lorenzo (San Lorenzo, CA) to clash with the Grizzlies in a bout on Friday, January 6. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 0-2. San Lorenzo lost 69-34 in their recent non-league bout against Berkeley (Berkeley, CA)

Next up, the Gators clash with the Balboa Buccaneers (San Francisco, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Gateway will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
