The Highland Scots (Bakersfield, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Mt. Whitney Pioneers (Visalia, CA), 26-24 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Scots (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Independence (Bakersfield, CA). The Falcons go into the test with a 8-3 record.
The Pioneers now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Hanford for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 3. Mt. Whitney will encounter a Bullpups squad coming off a 41-36 non-league win over Edison (Fresno, CA). The Bullpups record now stands at 1-2.
