In Saturday's non-league match, the host Sierra Lutheran Falcons basketball team scored a tight 35-32 triumph over the Silver Stage Nighthawks.
In their next game, the Falcons meet the Mammoth Huskies (Mammoth Lakes, CA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 3. Sierra Lutheran will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record.
With the defeat, Silver Stage moves to 0-1 on the year. The Nighthawks travel to Battle Mountain (Battle Mountain, NV) to meet the Longhorns in a match on Friday, January 6. The Longhorns enter the match with a record of 1-3.
