Kansas High School Basketball - Flinthills overwhelms Altoona-Midway

The Flinthills Mustangs basketball team scored 63 points and limited the host Altoona-Midway Jets to 42 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now have a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Eureka for a non-league game on Friday, December 20. Flinthills will confront a Tornadoes team coming off a 61-16 league loss to Humboldt (Humboldt, KS). The Tornadoes record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Altoona-Midway drops to 2-3 on the year. The Jets host Yates Center (Yates Center, KS) to meet the Wildcats in a Three Rivers match on Friday, January 3. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 1-4. Yates Center lost 51-40 in their recent league match against Uniontown (Uniontown, KS)
