Fitch Falcons (Groton, CT) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Bassick Lions (Bridgeport, CT), 77-28 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Fitch upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Falcons travel to Windham (Willimantic, CT) to face the Whippets in a non-league match on Thursday, December 19. The Whippets enter the match with a record of 0-0.

The Lions now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westhill for a non-league match on Thursday, December 19. Bassick will face a Vikings squad coming off a 59-50 non-league win over Cheshire (Cheshire, CT). The Vikings record now stands at 1-0.
