The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Bear Grass Charter Bears (Williamston, NC) and the visiting New Life Academy Bobcats (Elizabeth City, NC), observed Bear Grass Charter's basketball team overcome New Life Academy by a score of 68-52.
The Bears (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Perquimans (Hertford, NC). The Pirates come into the non-league challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Perquimans dropped by Holmes (Edenton, NC), 69-49, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bobcats battle the Albemarle School Colts (Elizabeth City, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 20. New Life Academy will attempt to improve on its 10-4 season record.
