In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Big Sky Eagles basketball team scored a big 60-19 triumph over the Russell Rustlers.
The Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Belgrade (Belgrade, MT). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Belgrade was trounced by Sentinel (Missoula, MT), 73-30, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Rustlers battle the Hellgate Knights (Missoula, MT) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Russell will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Knights go into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 54-41 non-league win over Great Falls (Great Falls, MT).
