The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Schroon Lake Wildcats (Schroon Lake, NY) and the host Boquet Valley Griffins (Elizabethtown, NY), observed Schroon Lake's basketball team overcome Boquet Valley by a margin of 56-36.

The Wildcats (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Hartford Central (Hartford, NY). The Tanagers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record.

With the loss, Boquet Valley falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Griffins travel to Seton Catholic Central (Plattsburgh, NY) to play the Knights in a Section 7 Mountain Valley bout on Thursday, January 9. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 0-2.
